Out of all the problematic aspects in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe fiasco Singham Again, the songs and BGM stood out as the worst. The soundtrack scored by Thaman and Ravi Basrur was torture on the ears of the audience.
Yes, Bhushan Kumar issued a copyright strike at the last minute, forcing the team to change the score, but even with that excuse, Thaman delivered one of the worst musical scores in recent times.

However, Thaman quickly redeemed himself with the teaser of Atlee’s Baby John, released yesterday. In the teaser, Thaman has done a great job.

Thaman has definitely outdone G.V. Prakash, at least going by the teaser. Thaman’s music was pulsating and heightened the impact of the well-cut teaser.
Back home Thaman has been consistently receiving criticism for his mediocre work in Telugu films like Guntur Kaaram, Skanda, and Bro. He was being brutally trolled by fans for delivering music and BGM that completely let down the films.
