There is no doubt that both films have opened to a humongous response, where they have collectively accumulated Rs. 72 crores. The twist in the tale is that it does not include the extra numbers that were accumulated by the tickets bought by the producers.
If we break the above-mentioned figure into two different parts, BB3 earned Rs. 32 crores on the first day and Singham Again had an overall collection of Rs. 40 crores. On the other hand, various online outlets reported that the collections summed up to Rs. 80 crores.

Now looking at the genuine figures, it seems like the process of corporate booking was used this time. Still, if we ignore that, it is clear that both films are on a path to be called blockbusters in the end.
The claims of corporate bookings have been raised in the past and it will happen in the future for every big film. But everyone knows that this cannot be proved with proper evidence. The survival of the film industry is currently important and while that continues, all these claims would be ignored.

There has been a question regarding the figures that came out based on the fact that BB3 and Singham Again were released on Diwali.
While there is no specific answer to this question, there is a possibility that people were busy with Diwali preparations on the day. However, the evening shows witnessed a rise in occupancy.
Although the numbers may not be up to the mark on the first two days, there will be a jump on Sunday. Now it remains to be seen who would record the highest collection.
