Akshay Kumar’s luck in the movies had not been really great in the past few years. With disaster projects like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Selfie and Mission Raniganj his credibility on the big screen has certainly fallen down.
Even some of his anticipated projects like Ram Setu, Sarfira and Prithviraj couldn’t perform well because of his saturated presence on screen. In simple terms fans have had enough of Akshay’s unthoughtful film selections.

But interestingly this is not the case with his cameo selections. It has been noticed that whenever Akshay has appeared in a cameo scene, he has been much hyped and loved by the fans.
His cameo in OMG 2 as Lord Shiva was dynamic and fans loved his power packed performance. Same was the case with Stree 2, fans couldn’t stop whistling and hooting when Akshay surprisingly appeared on the screen.

Fans loved it so much that they even started saying that he would be suitable as the Supervillain of the horror-comedy universe. And now his much awaited appearance in Singham Again has won the fans all over again.
Fans liked his classy cop avatar and his confidence made his appearance seem really special. It might just mean fans are more willing to accept him in shorter roles with higher impact rather than full-fledged roles.
