Elon Musk’s US Citizenship at Risk?

Elon Musk’s past has come to haunt him again, this time putting his US citizenship in jeopardy.

According to a new report, US officials are investigating whether Musk lied on his immigration forms when he first entered the country. If found guilty the Tech billionaire, who has been very vocal against illegal immigration, would have his citizenship revoked.

Reports suggest that Musk was accepted to Stanford University but never attended. Instead, he worked on a startup called Zip2 with his brother which goes against his student visa.

This follows an X user digging up an old interview where Musk’s brother admitted they were illegal immigrants when they first came to the US. People have since demanded action against the X owner, especially his political rivals in the Democrats.

Musk himself never agreed with his brother’s claims and said that he did get work authorization in 1997. However, this doesn’t clarify his early work status, which the authorities might be looking into.

The only way out for Tesla CEO might be if Donald Trump, whom he has supported throughout, wins the US elections and pulls some strings. On top of being good friends with him and getting a cabinet role, Musk has got yet another reason to back the former president.
