Sivakarthikeyan’s most anticipated Amaran movie, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, finally got released yesterday as a Diwali special and has acquired positive responses from the audiences and critics.
This movie has a huge hype amongst the audiences as this movie was based on real-life incidents of late Major Mukund Varadarajan. Sai Pallavi has returned after a short break for this movie in Kollywood.

As per trade sources, Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran movie has collected around 36 crores worldwide on its first day and has set the record for the highest-grossing day 1 movie for a tier 2 actor in Kollywood.
Trade analysts were predicting that Amaran has a good opportunity to cross the 100 crore gross mark in Tamil Nadu and is also expected to cross 200 crore in its overall theatrical run.

Also, as per Trade analysts, Amaran has become the second highest-grossing movie on day 1 for tier-2 actors among the South Indian actors, and still, Dasara remains in first place with 38 crores on its day-1 collection.
The third and fourth positions were acquired by Vijay Devarakonda’s Kushi with 27 crores and Vijay Devarakonda’s Liger with 25 crores.

Amaran’s box office collections are truly commanding, and Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran has also beaten Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan opening day collections in many centers across the country.
