KTR’s Cover Drive On KCR’s Political Absence?

KTR’s Cover Drive On KCR’s Political Absence?

After facing a defeat in the Telangana Assembly Elections last year, BRS chief and the state’s former Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao has been staying away from active politics.

KT Ramarao and Harish Rao are leading BRS in most of the issues. KCR re-entered the political arena during Lok Sabha elections but his campaign was of no use as the party won zero seats in those polls. Since then, KCR has gone into exile once again.

Many rumours have been floating in the media regarding his absence. While some say that he has health issues, others argue that he couldn’t digest defeat in elections and is not coming into active politics.

Recently, KTR was also asked about KCR’s absence in politics. In the ABP Conclave, KTR was asked whether KCR faced a big shock due to the defeat which made him stay away from politics.

Responding to the same, KTR said, “He is fabulous. He has seen way too much in life. He is a man with nerves of steel. He cannot be shaken or deterred by anything.”

“One should not ask where is KCR. Instead, they should ask what happened to the six guarantees promised by Congress. What happened to their promise of fulfilling those guarantees in just 100 days?” KTR added.

KTR went on to say that nothing happened to KCR. He said that KCR is planning, thinking and worried about Telangana. “The agenda was not about us holding the power all the time. The agenda was to make Telangana great in the country,” said KTR.

KTR’s statements are now going viral on social media. A few netizens opined that when asked about KCR’s absence, KTR tried to cover it by shifting the blame on Congress rather than unveiling the real reason.
