Jr NTR broke the Rajamouli curse with a high-flying Devara, which perhaps punched above its weight at the box office considering the early reception it got. But that’s not all of it.
There is a growing commotion on social media pertaining to NTR, demanding he take a detour from this commercial space for once and try something novel.

NTR is arguably the best actor of the current crop of elite superstars and this is accepted by the majority of the fandoms.
However, NTR is currently caught in commercial tropes where he is having to run after commercial subjects. While such action subjects have a wide appeal and easier box office marketing, they don’t give much scope for acting.

NTR, being the brilliant actor that he is, needs to quickly make a novel subject with a limited budget and explore the finessed actor in him. As of now, there is even a narrative on social media that NTR must do a film like Saagara Sangamam, 96, or even Sathyam Sundaram(Karthi’s new film) to exhibit his prowess.
Koratala Siva too made an interesting comment in this regard as he said NTR is usually excited by even small scripts and wants to do a quick novel film. But the commercial meters that NTR is confined to don’t make it feasible.

In view of the growing commotion for Tarak to do an acting-oriented film with a quick timeline and limited budget, there is a chance he might give it a thought. But again, there is far too much at stake for NTR at this point in time and he might not be fully prepared to take the risk.
