Do Patti is the latest OTT film with a popular cast, including Kajol, Kriti Sanon, and Shaheer Sheikh, now streaming on Netflix in multiple dubbed audios, including Telugu.
Kriti Sanon plays twin roles and also serves as a producer. The film revolves around two look-alike twin sisters and how they deal with domestic abuse in a mystical way.
While Kriti delivers her usual performance in twin roles, Kajol feels underutilized and often comes across as dull. Her role as a cop, and later in the courtroom, lacks power or impact due to weak writing and presentation.
Surprisingly, Kajol’s screen presence is also lacking.
Do Patti struggles to fit into either the thriller genre or a message-driven film about domestic violence. It suffers from a lack of clarity and consistency, resulting in an uneven flow.
The twin sisters concept keeps the film barely watchable for home viewing, but don’t expect much more. Music and production are just okay. Watch it for the cast but be ready for a weak, watchable film.
