The house elected their new mega chief in the latest Bigg Boss episode. Goutham was the chief so far, and the latest chief for the house is Vishnupriya. She wanted to become the chief in the ninth week, and as per her wish, she became one now coincidentally. However, how she was elected was not the right way to take the position.
Vishnupriya did not play her game well the entire week. She did not play well throughout the season so far. But still, she has got the mega chief position now. It looked like Bigg Boss intentionally favored her as he wanted to ask both clans to select one more member for chief contenders, and that is how she entered the race.

At the same time, after she entered the race, Bigg Boss must have planned the final task where the housemates have to put flower garlands or mirchi garlands to those who they want or do not want to continue the race.
Mehaboob was the first one to pull Prerana out of the race, citing the reason that he wanted to support his clan. Nabeel cited the same reason for eliminating Rohini from the race. Avinash eliminated Pruthvi from the race, who later removed Tasty Teja. In the end, there was only Nikhil as well as Vishnupriya.
