Following the success of the first two films, audiences are eagerly waiting for the release of Jolly LLB 3. While a release date has been confirmed, a popular producer has approached Akshay Kumar to reconsider the same.
The news comes after the announcement of a film based on C Shankaran Nair. Produced by Karan Johar, the untitled project will also feature Akshay in the lead.

Although the biopic will arrive on March 14 next year, Jolly LLB 3 will be released around 20 days after that. The major reason Karan requested Akshay for a date change is because both of them feature a similar theme of a legal battle.
A few reports have claimed that the Jallianwala Bagh massacre will form the main premise of Karan’s film. Some sources have also stated that Akshay and Karan have decided to change the release dates.

But on the other hand, the producers of Jolly LLB 3 are yet to issue an official statement on the same.
Even if Akshay agrees, the makers would not like to miss the opportunity to earn some benefit from the holiday that would come in the first two weeks.

The success of both films is more important for Akshay considering the lineup of flops that he has been delivering for some time. Expectations are sky-high considering the response to the first two installments.
Furthermore, a change in release date might not help to bring amazing box office collections. Even if the glimpses turn out to be perfect, audiences are bored of watching biopics and Akshay Kumar repeatedly on the big screen.
Akshay’s two films releasing within a gap of 20 days would only lead to overexposure, increasing the count of flops for him. A long gap is important and it needs to be seen if the right decision is taken in the upcoming days.
