Harish Rao Betrayed By BRS?

Harish Rao Betrayed By BRS?

Things have not been going well for Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) ever since it lost the assembly elections in Telangana last year. Since then, the party’s chief K. Chandrashekar Rao has been staying away from active politics.

Except during parliament elections in the summer and an assembly session in July, KCR was not seen in the political arena over the last 10 months. All party activities are being handled by working president KT Rama Rao and senior leader Harish Rao. They have been answering accusations on the party and are actively attacking the Congress government from the forefront.

KTR and Harish are often considered the two pillars of the BRS party. There has been widespread talk among people for a long time on who will succeed KCR as the party’s chief among these two. However, there is no clarity regarding the same as of now.

However, a recent incident sparked a debate on BRS’s next president and the internal disturbances within the party. Yesterday, KTR held a press conference to showcase a PowerPoint presentation on BRS’s stance on the Musi Rejuvenation Project. During the presentation, there were two BRS logos on the screen, one with KCR and one with KTR.

The Congress party’s social media handles shared logos on their platforms, claiming that KTR would succeed KCR, effectively sidelining Harish Rao from becoming the party’s president and betraying him.

These posts sparked widespread debate on social media about the internal politics within the BRS party. In response, BRS’s social media handles retaliated by condemning the Congress’s allegations.
