Suriya’s 44th movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has a bunch of star-studded actors, which include Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, and many others. The musical album of this movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The shooting of this movie is said to be completed, and the team is working on the post-production. In this scenario, Karthik Subbaraj, the director of this movie, gave an interview for a YouTube channel in which he gave a surprise update to Suriya fans.
With the Glimpse and posters of Suriya 44, everyone expected that this movie would be an out-and-out Gangster movie from Karthik Subbaraj, but Karthik Subbaraj, in a recent interview, has opened up that Suriya 44 is a romantic action drama.

Also, he mentioned the core story of this movie is based on Love but will have intense action sequences. This has been the talk of the town as Suriya is again back on track with his strong zone after Vaaranam Aayiram.
Suriya fans were happy with this update, as after a long gap, Suriya is going to act in a movie that is based on Love. Also, this may backfire, as Karthik Subbaraj is known for his Gangster movies, but this one may be an experimental project.
