Jai Mahendran deals with political drama in a simple setup, but the writing and situations never raise the bar.
The web series features an interesting cast, including Saiju Kurup, Suhasini Maniratnam, Rahul Riji Nair, Malayalam actress Miya, and others.
While Saiju Kurup runs most of the show, Suhasini’s role feels more like a part-time appearance and makes little impact while watching.
Even the scenes featuring conflicts between Suhasini and Saiju Kurup are either dull or too simple to demand attention.
Well known Malayalam actress Miya plays more of a sidekick wife role with zero importance to the story.
In the end, Jai Mahendran is barely passable. You can give it a try while doing household chores without paying much attention, mainly for its cast.
