    Jigra has been one of the most-awaited films of this year. Considering the ongoing festive season, audiences want to watch something different and the action thriller has been expected to entertain everyone. The film has been released today in theatres.

    Public reviews play an important role in the success of a film and the reactions for Jigra are out now on social media. Notably, it has received a mixed response, with major criticism towards the screenplay.

    Although the response has not been fully positive towards the overall content, netizens have praised Vasan Bala’s direction. A few people have also appreciated Alia Bhatt’s performance, calling it one of the best in her career so far.

    People have also highlighted certain emotional sequences from the film, saying that it leaves an impact on the hearts of the audience.

    But on the other hand, a section of the public was not happy with the second half, calling it chaotic, specifically due to a jailbreak sequence. The same people stated that the climax does not connect with the audience as per expectations and the film loses the well-built setup.

    However, the first half was described as thrilling by the audience, saying that Bala showcases his perfect directorial skills in this section. Apart from all these, people were not happy with the film’s overall length, saying that it gets stretched at one point.

    Jigra also features Vedang Raina in another important role. Alia has also served as a producer alongside Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soumen Mishra.
