In the interview, TJ Gnanavel mentioned that after the success of Jai Bhim, TJ Gnanavel narrated the script of Vettaiyan to Suriya, and he liked it, and he only asked him to approach Superstar Rajinikanth for the lead role in this movie.
Also, he said that without Suriya’s support, Vettaiyan might not happen. Also, a movie with Suriya was about to begin during that time when he got committed to Vettaiyan. Suriya only asked him to work with Rajinikanth, and the project with him can be done later.
