Devara 2 Will Be Bigger & Bloodier

Jr NTR’s latest release Devara: Part 1 has been performing exceptionally well at the box office.

The Koratala Siva directorial has grossed around ₹350 crore worldwide so far and is expected to touch ₹400 crore soon.

Director Koratala Siva, though more relieved than excited, is enjoying the success of Devara after the massive pressure to deliver following the failure of Acharya. With Devara, he’s made a decent comeback.

In an interview with Bollywood media, Koratala shared exciting insights about Devara 2.

He revealed that Devara 2 will be “bigger and bloodier” than its first part. “The way the characters evolve will have audiences on the edge of their seats. As a director, I’m thrilled because the story in Part 2 is an absolute rollercoaster.”

Koratala added, “If Part 1 was 10% excitement for NTR fans, Part 2 will be 100%. The twists and turns in NTR’s character, combined with some key episodes, will deliver fans the ultimate high. I can promise that.”

He also confirmed that two major sequences of Devara 2 have already been completed and the film is set to begin full-scale production next year.

It seems Koratala Siva is truly motivated by the success of Devara: Part 1 and is fully committed to shooting Part 2 soon. This is in contrast to some recent pan-India big-budget films where sequels have been put on hold or canceled due to a lack of audience interest.

If Devara 2 happens, NTR’s upcoming slate is packed with highly anticipated projects, including War 2, Prashanth Neel’s Part 1 film, Devara: Part 2, and Prashanth Neel’s Part 2 project.

All these ventures seem extremely promising, at least on paper.
