NTR has successfully taken a step forward in his pan-India dream post-‘RRR.’ Though ‘Devara’ is not a blockbuster, it is a one-time theatrical watch with scale that did what he needed to score a hit in the Hindi markets.
In Telugu states, he showed dominance in the Ceded region, living up to his reputation that no one can come close to him in that area. The film has already surpassed ‘Salaar’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and is expected to go past the sensational ₹25 crore share this week.

Not just in Ceded or Guntur, ‘Devara’ has broken even for all Telugu state buyers yesterday, taking full advantage of the Dasara holidays and maintaining a solid hold.
In the U.S., ‘Devara’ needs another $140K to reach the $6 million club, having entered the profit zone during its first weekend.

In any way we look at it, ‘Devara’ will be seen as a hit film for NTR, with the most surprising success coming from the Hindi belt, which no one expected before its release.
Next, it will be ‘RRR’s other hero, Ram Charan’s, turn to deliver big and establish his authority as a pan-India star, especially with the ‘Global Star’ tag post-‘RRR.’

When both ‘RRR’ stars announced their next movies, NTR’s film with Koratala was seen as a weaker venture due to his form, while Charan’s film with Shankar, who had big successes in Hindi like ‘Robo,’ was seen as a wise choice, as it also brings in the Tamil market.
However, Shankar’s recent ‘Indian 2’ raised doubts about him. Even if he delivers an average watch, a lot of the burden will fall on Global Star Ram Charan to draw crowds to theaters, especially as the film is targeting the Christmas holiday season.
Just like NTR, ‘Game Changer’ is a crucial film for Charan, and it must work to prove that he is still in the race for pan-India stardom.
Shankar is one director no one can write off due to his excellent filmography, and he can deliver a resounding hit at any time. Will ‘Game Changer’ be that hit?
