Jahnvi Kapoor reportedly said No to the team of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. The team wanted a star heroine for the special song in their film and initially Jahnvi Kapoor showed interest.
But everything got changed after the release of Devara, the debut film of the actress. Jahnvi was upset with how she was mostly confined only to songs.

“I was told I will be in the whole film of Devara but it was like I was only for songs. If I do Pushpa 2 only for a Special Song, I will be branded as Heroine of Songs. So I can not do the Special Song,” Jahnvi Kapoor told the team.
Jahnvi Kapoor will be next seen in Ram Charan’s next with Director Buchi Babu.

Pushpa 2 wants a famous face to be a part of their Special Song. Samantha danced for the Special Song in the first part and the song was a blockbuster. So the expectations will be high for this song in Pushpa 2.
Tripti Dimri was also an option for this song. She was a rage across the nation after the release of Animal. But much to the disappointment of the team, she is not a good dancer and so would not fit the bill. So they are looking for a replacement.

Pushpa 2 is currently being shot in Kakinada. A few scenes involving Fahadh Fasil are being canned. The team plans to complete entire talkie part shoot by this month-end and the remaining songs by November 10th.
