A case of blackmail involving a young woman in Visakhapatnam has come to light. The woman, named Joy, allegedly targeted wealthy and influential men through social media, using a “honey trap” scheme. According to reports, Joy would drug the victims, making them unconscious, and then record compromising videos and photos with the help of her team. Once in possession of these materials, she would demand money, threatening to release the footage if they didn’t comply.
The Bheemili police have arrested Joy, and they believe there could be more victims involved in this blackmail scheme. Investigations are ongoing to uncover further details and identify any other individuals affected by this scam.

A young woman named Korupolu Jay Jamima was arrested by Bheemli police in Visakhapatnam for blackmailing men using compromising nude videos. She was involved in a scheme where she would trap wealthy and influential men from society through social media, particularly on platforms like Instagram. She befriended an NRI and lured him into a fake online relationship, eventually drugging him and taking compromising photos while he was unconscious.
Jamima reportedly blackmailed the NRI, threatening to release these photos unless he complied with her demands, which included getting engaged to her and giving her large sums of money. The NRI eventually escaped from her house and reported the matter to the police. Following his complaint, the police arrested Jamima and seized several electronic devices and other evidence linked to her extortion scheme. She is currently in judicial custody.
