It was stated that leaders requested for new normal and Vande Bharat trains for Amaravati. Kesineni Sivanath(Chinni) further stated that the previous YCP government completely ignored the railway system which is why Amaravati failed to get a new railway line. He added that all railway-related issues will be solved in these five years.
Apart from Amaravati, AP MPs requested new railway lines and trains for their respective constituencies. Bapatla MP Tenneti Krishna Prasad requested for new line between Repalle and Bapatla, a fourth line between Vijayawada and Gudur, and a Vande Bharat sleeper train to Bengaluru.
