Distributors have additionally expressed excitement regarding the upcoming sequel in a recent interview. They stated that the collaboration of Hrithik and NTR is going to create mayhem at the box office, which also hints at the fact that War 2 might break the records created by the first film.

The distributors claimed in the interview that there would be two separate sections of the audience coming to the big screen to enjoy War 2. The first will be the die-hard fanbase of Tarak followed by those who have showered their love towards the Spy Universe since 2012.
Aditya Chopra has already made big plans for the franchise, starting with War 2. Considering that the sequel is arriving after six years, viewers can expect to see better action sequences, style, and substance.
