Popular Bollywood actor Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver at his home. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Mumbai.
Reportedly, Govinda accidentally fired the weapon while checking it. The incident occurred at around 4:45 AM. By approximately 5:15 AM, he was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai.

According to sources, Govinda was supposed to take an early morning flight to Kolkata. Meanwhile, police have arrived at Govinda’s residence to assess the situation. They have seized Govinda’s revolver and are investigating the case.
The actor’s manager said that Govinda was preparing to leave for Kolkata in the morning. While putting the revolver in its case, it slipped from his hand, and a bullet was discharged, hitting his leg.

It was reported that the doctors removed the bullet from his leg, and he is under observation. He is expected to be discharged in a few days.
Govinda was one of the top heroes in Bollywood during the late 80s and 90s. His notable works include Coolie No. 1, Swarg, Raja Babu, Haseena Maan Jaayegi, Rajaji, and Partner.
