Atlee’s next production Baby John was showcased at the Big Cine Expo 2024 in Mumbai on September 30, with exclusive footage.
The event featured producers Atlee, Priya Atlee, and director Kalees, who ensured that all mobile devices were silenced and stored away during the screening.

The 5-minute trailer highlighted Varun Dhawan in his most massiest role yet. He displayed a mix of dance and comedy, transitioning to a serious cop persona that excited single-screen audiences.
The promo was rich in action and less dialogue-focused, complemented by a thunderous background score.

Varun’s character had two distinct looks: a sophisticated cop with short hair and a more rugged version with long hair, dressed in a lungi as he confronted gangsters.
Keerthy Suresh looks hot and Wamiqa Gabbi contributes significantly to the narrative. Jackie Shroff’s role is described as particularly frightening.

Atlee emphasized that Baby John is an official adaptation of Theri, with modifications to address important themes like women’s safety and rape. This marks Atlee’s first Hindi film as a producer, and he aims to appeal to single-screen audiences.
Produced by Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A For Apple Productions, Baby John is set to release in theaters on December 25 clashing with Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
