Jayam Ravi’s Brother movie is directed by M. Rajesh, who is known for his movies such as Siva Manasula Shakthi and Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga. Brother movie was expected to get released on October 31st as a Diwali special.
In this scenario, Dharmalingam Venugopal, who is the honorary director of the Nilgiri Documentation Centre, has asked the state government to hold the release of the Brother movie.

A song in the Brother movie named Badagas Night, composed by Harris Jayaraj, has some lines that damage the purity of Goddess Hethey, who is a grandmother of the Badagas.
Also, he has mentioned to the state government that the Badagas community was one of the ancient communities in Nilgiris, and still, they worship the goddess Hethey, and they wish not to take this on a legal note as it may bring a negative image to the community.

Jayam Ravi has been continuously facing problems for the past few months as his divorce issues are still not yet completed, and now this withheld issues of his Brother movie. Let us hope everything will be sorted out in the coming days and Brother will be released as per plan.
