Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures International Productions together are bankrolling Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming flick Amaran directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy. The movie tells the life story of the late Major Mukund Varadharajan, who died in a military operation.
The movie stars Sai Pallavi playing the role of Mukund’s wife named Indhu Rebecca Varghese. The promo focuses mainly on Sai Pallavi’s character as Indhu and her adoration for Mukund. The video also shows the real footage of Indhu paying tribute to her husband during Republic Day celebrations, in the presence of Modi and Obama. Sai Pallavi enchants in the role of Indhu.

Nithiin family’s distribution house Sreshth Movies will be releasing the movie in Telugu states. Amaran is scheduled for its release during Diwali on October 31st.
