Latest Trend Of Rich Killing Poor

BMW Killings

A recent incident has come to light in which a man named Gajendra Pratap Singh, reportedly hit two women with his speeding BMW, while driving in the opposite lane. The incident occurred in the Khajrana area of Indore, at about 11.30 in the night.

Diksha Jadon and Lakshmi Tomar were returning from the Khajrana Ganesh Temple Fair on their scooter when the man in his BMW hit them while driving in the opposite lane. The women were quickly rushed to the hospital by the public, where, despite best efforts, they could not be saved.

The internet is raging over this incident. People are venting their anger and frustration on social media. One user says, “The driver will be made to write essays. And then termed as a teenager followed by whatever possible for a safe exit”. This comment originally highlights the Pune Porsche case where the culprit was asked to write a 300-word essay about road safety!

Some social media users are blaming the government and the system for being too soft on the wealthy and too harsh on the common public. Many are pointing fingers towards some middle-class people, who waste no time in coming to the defence of rich people, a thing all too common in India.

One user said that while earlier, people sleeping on the footpaths were getting hit by the rich, now it’s the time for the middle class to receive their share of hits. This anger and frustration is valid as in our system the rich often get away with anything, while the poor are left to suffer.
