People cut the size of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to a humiliating level in the recent elections. Falling from 151 seats to just eleven is shocking on all counts.
After the defeat of such magnitude, one should retreat and ponder over what went wrong.

But Jagan is a different material altogether. There are no reviews or course corrections.
Before the elections, I-PAC always tried to scare the people by showing crowds at Jagan’s meeting.

YSR Congress used to spend huge money on mobilizing crowds and then, they used to scare DWACRA women and school kids to come in huge numbers. Then, the drone videos used to be circulated on social media and Sakshi to showcase that Jagan is immensely popular and there is no one even remotely matching his popularity.
I-PAC tried to create a perception that ‘Why Not 175?’ is not just a slogan.

But after the results came, we all know the reality. Not even 10% of the crowds who attended Siddham meetings voted for Jagan.
Even after the people’s verdict, Jagan did not learn anything.
Wherever Jagan goes, YSR Congress congregates people in big numbers and circulates videos on Sakshi and Social Media saying that Jagan is very popular. But then, these outdated strategies will take YSR Congress nowhere.
Jagan should have honestly visited the Flood-affected areas and publicized those videos. Such videos would have helped him better. Instead, he chose to have formality visits for two hours and then disappear to Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, Jagan got court permission for Passport Renewal and is likely to fly to London on holiday in a day or two.
