Now there is strong speculation that he is next going to direct another film with Arun Vijay as a lead. Two movies under his direction have already been released, and one is yet to be released, which is Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), and the Arun Vijay project will be his 4th directorial venture if it happens.
Dhanush as a director till now hasn’t made any ground-breaking movies; also, many audiences after Raayan have commented on social media that Dhanush is not good as a director like his brother Selvaraghavan.

After this news, many audiences felt that this wasn’t necessary for a good actor to direct average movies. Also, fans were requesting actor Dhanush to invest more time in selecting good scripts for acting instead of directing.
