September 2024 is set to be a thrilling month for OTT platforms, as several delayed but eagerly awaited films are finally making their debut.

First up, Agent, a Telugu spy thriller directed by Surender Reddy, will be available on Sony LIV this month finally, according to reports. One of the biggest disasters in recent times in the Telugu industry, and fans are eager to watch it on OTT and know what went so horribly wrong.

Manamey, a Telugu comedy starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty, has faced delays due to complications involving non-theatrical rights fraud. Originally planned for release earlier, the film’s OTT debut on Prime Video was postponed until these legal issues were resolved. The movie, which had an average theatrical run, is now expected to stream in September.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial venture, Lal Salaam, will also be hitting the OTT scene. This sports drama, which stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, along with a cameo by Rajinikanth, was an epic disaster at the box office but will be available for streaming on Sun NXT from September 20. The film’s OTT release is expected to offer viewers a chance to see why it turned out to be so bad.

Thalavan, a Malayalam crime thriller that received positive reviews and performed well at the box office, will be available on Sony LIV starting September 10. The film, directed by Jis Joy, features a strong ensemble cast including Biju Menon and Asif Ali.

Punjabi cinema fans can look forward to Jatt & Juliet 3, a romantic comedy starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa which was a huge blockbuster. This film, which follows the successful Jatt & Juliet and Jatt & Juliet 2, will be available on the Chaupal platform from September 19.

Finally, the action comedy Fall Guy, directed by David Leitch and starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, is set to stream on JioCinema from September 3. The film, inspired by the 1980s TV series, promises a blend of high-octane action and humor.

Keerthy Suresh’s last month’s disaster Raghu Thatha is also streaming on Zee 5 from September 13.
