The Hindi dubbed version of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram had a very poor performance, making just over 1 crore over the weekend, according to Bollywood sources.

Nani’s goal of establishing a strong pan-India presence faces challenges if his films continue to disappoint in the Hindi market. He is hoping for a breakthrough like the surprise hits Kantara, Karthikeya 2, or Pushpa, but his last film, Dasara, and now Saripodhaa Sanivaaram have not succeeded in Hindi.
Interestingly, Dasara, despite being a flop in Hindi, performed better than Saripodhaa Sanivaaram in the North, earning almost 60 lakhs on its first day.
Meanwhile, Hi Nanna (Hindi) found success on OTT platforms, but this alone may not be enough to achieve his pan-India goals.
In Andhra Pradesh, the film had a mixed performance, with only Vizag showing notable success.
The Telugu film industry has had a tough year, with most films, including Kalki 2898 AD, underperforming in Andhra Pradesh. Hanuman was a rare exception, benefiting from the Sankranti period.
The situation with ticket prices has improved this year after the government change, but collections are still lower compared to past years.
The industry is looking forward to the end of the month when Devara is set to release, which is expected to perform extremely well in Andhra Pradesh.
