Some say there is no greater love than the love of a mother. However, an Indian-origin woman not only forgot her motherly duties but all humanity when she took the life of her 10-year-old daughter in the UK.
Jaskirat Kaur, 33, has admitted to killing her daughter, Shay Kang who was found dead at a residence in West Midlands with stab wounds on her chest. Kaur, who also goes by Jasmine Kang, has denied murderous intent and only pleaded guilty to the charges of manslaughter.

The punishment for Jaskirat is still pending as she is still locked up in prison. One would imagine what could be the psychological state of her who stooped so low to stab the girl she brought into this world. The 10-year-old couldn’t have imagined that her own home could be the most dangerous place she could live in.
Shay grew up in the abode of her mother and her godmother, Kayleigh Coclough, while her father has never thought to have met her. One can speculate to no end what would’ve transpired on the unfortunate day that Shay lost her life, but nothing can justify the actions of her mother. The court has told Jaskirat and her lawyer to cooperate with the further reports as the final sentence will be passed on the 25th of October. It appears there might be more horrors that will be revealed by the end of the court proceeding.
