Revealed: Where Jermaine Jenas will ‘return to TV next month’ after the BBC sacked the presenter from Match of the Day and The One Show over ‘inappropriate behaviour’

Jermaine Jenas has reportedly been handed a career lifeline by TNT Sports following his sacking by the BBC.

The former England international was sacked from his £190,000 job by the BBC because of ‘inappropriate behaviour’, allegedly sending ‘unsolicited’ texts to junior members of staff.

Jenas on the day the news broke insisted on talkSPORT that ‘there are two sides to every story’

However, it has been reported by the Telegraph that TNT Sports have kept him on and that he is expected to return later this season.

The publication claims that Jenas was not stood down from co-commentary duty during Brighton’s Premier League win over Manchester United on Saturday as he had not been scheduled to appear.

It’s added that while Jenas has not been booked by TNT for the next few weeks, he is expected back following next month’s international break.

However, TNT executives are expected to address the matter during the international break.

However, The Telegraph claim that TNT declined to comment on Jenas’ employment status.

In addition to commentary work for TNT, the 41-year-old also presents the broadcaster’s Formula E coverage.

However, the next Formula E race is when the 2024-25 season gets underway in Brazil on December 7.
