BRS Working President and Sirisilla MLA Kalvakuntla Tarakarama Rao (KTR) is heading to Delhi with a delegation of 20 party MLAs and key leaders, drawing significant attention in Telangana’s political circles.
This visit comes at a critical time, as KTR’s sister, BRS MLC Kavitha, remains in Tihar Jail after being arrested in connection with the Delhi Liquor Scam, a case that has garnered nationwide attention.

Despite multiple attempts to secure bail through the Delhi High Court, Rouse Avenue Court, and even the Supreme Court, Kavitha has faced repeated setbacks. A crucial hearing on her bail petition is scheduled for August 27 in the Supreme Court.
In light of recent developments, including the granting of bail to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia—who were also implicated in the same scam—there is growing optimism within the BRS that Kavitha may be granted bail this time.
