Usually, a jail is a correctional facility where inmates are bound to repent their actions. But in the case of certain privileged individuals, jails are no more than getaway locations.

For those wondering, here is the case of Kannada superstar Darshan who was sent to jail after being accused of murdering his fan Renukaswamy. While the superstar is still in remand while the case proceeds in court, he is said to be getting VVIP perks inside the jail.
According to the revelations made by national media, Darshan is seen in a set of viral pics as he smokes a cigarette and drinks from a pingani cup while seated along with his mates.

The fact that a murder accused is getting such VIP perks inside the jail after facing a whole lot of public backlash in a heinous murder case is leaving everyone shocked.
That is not the end of the story either, there is another viral video on social media where Darshan is seen having a fun video call session with a couple of other men. This could be an implication that he has access to smartphones inside the jail as well.
