Speaking at a meeting in Bengaluru, Pawan said that 40 years ago, heroes used to save forests, and now they are cutting trees and smuggling them in movies.

People assumed it was an indirect dig at Allu Arjun and his portrayal of a red sanders smuggler in the film Pushpa.

A few days ago, Allu Arjun said at a film event that he would go to any extent or do anything for people he likes. This was taken as an indirect dig at Pawan Kalyan.

Now, Allu Arjun’s father-in-law and former MLA, Kancharla Chandrashekhar Reddy, reacted to Pawan’s comments. He demanded that Pawan take back his statement.

Chandrashekhar Reddy opined that it would be better if Pawan Kalyan at least clarifies now that his intention was not to demean anyone through his statements.

He said that if Pawan intended to criticize Allu Arjun, he was not criticizing Allu Arjun but the government of India, led by his own NDA, which gave Allu Arjun the National Award for his performance in Pushpa.

On the other hand, Naga Babu, during the elections, stated that those who support rival parties cannot be considered allies, whereas those who support their own party, even if they are outsiders, should be regarded as allies. This cryptic post was assumed as a potshot at Allu Arjun.

Chandrashekhar Reddy said that these statements by Naga Babu might have come out of frustration.
