In a trailer shared by Jio Cinema on its various social media platforms a new series has been revealed. It is produced by Anand Tiwari and directed by Vishwajoy Mukherjee. The star cast includes young faces, namely Tanay Chheda, Tushar Shahi, Gautam Gujjar, and Chayan Chopra. The show covers the challenges of military training and the journey of growth of young cadets, hence the name Cadets. It will be streaming on Jio Cinema Premium from 30 August.
The trailer seems to be promising as it covers the fun and youthful moments of four boys who grow up to become responsible and valorous soldiers in the army. It has a classic coming of age theme, and breaks the norms of military life by showcasing the boys in a heartfelt light where they are not just subjected to strict training but navigate several aspects of their life. It also has a touch of emotional depth that would create just the right blend of an OTT experience.
