Manchester United midfielder Maxi Oyedele is in talks to join Polish side Legia Warsaw.
The 19-year-old, who was part of United’s FA Youth Cup winning side in 2021-22, was born in Salford but qualifies to play for Poland owing to his mother.
He has been with United since joining their academy from Burnley as an eight-year-old and progressed through the ranks.
He had an impressive loan spell with Altrincham in 2022-23 where he scored four goals in 12 games and was promoted to train with United’s first team squad on his return.
However, with competition for midfield first team places congested, Oyedele went on loan to struggling Forest Green Rovers last season as they battled against relegation from League Two.

Will Fish is also closing in on a move away from Old Trafford to join Championship side Cardiff
Facundo Pellistri also looks set to leave Man United to join Greek giants Panathinaikos
Oyedele has been capped by Poland three times at U21 level and Legia Warsaw believe he can realise his potential with them under young Portuguese coach Goncalo Feio.
United are willing to sell the teenager for a modest fee but with a substantial sell-on. Talks are ongoing with Oyedele keen on the move.
United centre back Will Fish, meanwhile, is set to join Cardiff City while Panathinaikos are pushing for an agreement on United winger Facundo Pellistri.
Fish, 21, has made just one senior appearance for the Red Devils and has spent the last two seasons on loan at Hibernian.
He now looks destined to drop down to the Championship on a permanent deal.
Uruguay’s Pellistri left his homeland to join United in 2020 but has been restricted to just 25 outings over the last four years at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old, who has 26 caps for his country, played just over half an hour in the Community Shield earlier this month as United were beaten on penalties by Manchester City at Wembley.
That could prove to be his final match for United as he edges nearer to a move to Greece.
