    Loud Protest For R G Kar

    We are now in a do or die situation. Incident after Incident are taking place. The rape and murder that took place in Kolkata R G Kar college and hospital sent a wave of rebel throughout the whole world now.

    It was kept in a closed container as only colleges and hospitals from West Bengal were protesting against this crime.

    But slowly the whole India came forward, protests from places like Delhi, Dehradun, Patiala, Varanasi, Lucknow ,Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bareilly, Raipur, Jammu have now begun.

    But No ! we ain’t stopping there as well. From New York City’s Times Square to Canada, from the UK to Germany, and Bangladesh, protests were held, and being organized, across the whole world in a show of solidarity with those in Kolkata fighting for justice for the RG Kar rape murder victim.

    A guy named Sayantan Das participated on 14th August “Reclaim the night” at Time square, and 40 more people joined to show solidarity.

    On Sunday, Los Angeles Indians will gather at Lake Hollywood Park at 11 am to protest in front of the Hollywood signage. Around 250 people joined that protest.

    The Bengali community of Houston, including members of Houston Durgabari Society and Tagore Society of Houston, came out to protest the RG Kar incident.

    On Friday night, female students at Dhaka University organised a protest against the RG Kar incident. The protest also aimed to raise a voice for all rape survivors in Bangladesh who have been denied justice in the past, demanding speedy trials for the perpetrators.

    Just like that a huge fire of justice is blowing with the wind, which none can stop now.

    We have to keep this in mind that the the protest is not just for what happened, The protest is for Protection, Justice and Respect.
