While action films were falling short of a strong script and screenplay, horror films left an impression with some flawless performances and unique plots.

Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan started the journey and it was joined by Munjya a few months later. Now the next on the list is Stree 2. There is hardly anyone who is not aware of the records the film has broken in terms of the first-day collections. It has been only two days since the film was released and is trending in the headlines for the positive feedback from the audience.
Overall, it is clear now that the horror genre is a reason why people still remember Bollywood films. The lineup of Hindi films for 2024 did not feature any big stars who contributed to the success of Bollywood last year, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sunny Deol.

Horror films have been able to appeal to everyone, including audiences for a single screen. This particular genre has a history of success over the years. Anyone born during the 80s remembers the Ramsay Brothers, who entertained audiences with a mixture of horror, sex, and visual effects.
Apart from this, everyone is missing Vikram Bhatt who once impressed the critics and audiences with jump-scary moments in films like Raaz and 1920. Bhatt has discontinued making such films and everyone is waiting for him to return with such films again.
