Nani Under Fire: Unnecessary Controversy

Nani Unnecessary Controversy

In today’s world of social media, some people seem to thrive on creating unnecessary controversies and spreading hate against movies and actors.

Nani’s upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is the latest target of this trend, as fringe elements have taken to social media to stir up trouble. After the recent trailer release, certain users began sharing screenshots, accusing the film of engaging in minority appeasement.

One user posted, “Is Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram another appeasement movie after V? The trailer shows minorities as oppressed, and the hero standing by them. When will this madness end? It’s a subtle way of pushing propaganda.”

Another added, “Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy was also an appeasement movie that threw Hindu Sanatana Dharma in a bad light.”

Such comments only reflect a growing pattern of baseless accusations. One person even alleged, “He’s been doing this for a while. From Bhale Bhale Magadivoy to Ante Sundaraniki, Shyam Singha Roy, V, and others, he’s always painting Hindus as the problem.”

These are the same voices that attempted to stir controversy around Deepika Padukone’s bikini color in Pathaan, a film they wanted to boycott. However, Pathaan went on to become an All Time Blockbuster, proving that such noise doesn’t determine a film’s fate.

Let’s hope Nani delivers another solid film with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and silences these trolls who are bent on maligning the film industry, creating unnecessary divisions, and spreading hate under the guise of protecting religion.
