Based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the teaser quickly made waves on social media.

Reactions to the teaser, however, have been mixed. While some fans praised its intensity and epic scale, others mocked it, claiming the action scenes were over-the-top and comical and more suited to someone like Sunny Deol than Vicky Kaushal.

Some argued that Allu Arjun has nothing to worry about, dismissing the teaser as underwhelming in comparison to the buzz surrounding Pushpa 2.

For context, Chhaava is set to clash with Allu Arjun’s most-awaited Pushpa 2 on December 6. Initially, it was speculated that Chhaava could pose a significant challenge to Pushpa 2 in the northern market. However, the mixed reception to the teaser suggests that Pushpa 2 remains the clear favorite.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, his wife. As the release date approaches, the battle between these two films is sure to intensify.
