    Mohammed Siraj Shows Incredible Presence Of Mind As He Gets Rid Of Chamika Karunaratne With Brilliant Run Out


    IND vs SL: India’s fast bowler Mohammed Siraj made the headlines for his terrific bowling performance in the third and final ODI against Sri Lanka.

    The dead rubber was taking place at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first on a good batting track.

    The Men in Blue largely benefitted from the services of Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. The duo took the bowling attack to the cleaners with a fearless batting display.

    While Virat Kohli chipped in with 166 off 110 (13 fours, 8 sixes), Shubman Gill chipped in with 116 off 97 balls including 14 fours and 2 sixes.

    Team India posted a massive total of 390 for the loss of five wickets in their allotted quota of 50 overs. On the other hand, the Sri Lankan cricket team totally lost the plot in the run-chase.

    The visitors were bundled out for 73 runs and thus lost the game by 317 runs. Notably, this is also India’s biggest-ever win in the history of ODIs.

    IND vs SL: During the third ODI, Mohammed Siraj showed an incredible presence of mind on the field. As a result, he effected a brilliant run out to dismiss Chamika Karunaratne.

    The incident happened during the fourth ball of the 12th over. Chamika Karunaratne played a defensive shot and simply posed just like that.

    However, he didn’t realize that he was inches short of his crease. Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj realized that he was out of the crease as he quickly hit the stumps and ran him out.

    The video clip of the same has gone viral on the internet. Siraj had a fabulous day at the office as he bagged four wickets, giving away 32 runs in 10 overs, and also bowled a maiden over.
