The ongoing saga involving Tollywood actor Raj Tarun and his alleged affair with Lavanya has taken increasingly unexpected and sensational turns.

At the center of this controversy is Mastan Sai, initially known as Lavanya’s boyfriend, who has now been exposed as a significant figure in a drug trafficking network.
After evading the authorities for several days, Mastan Sai, a central figure in multiple controversies, has finally been arrested. The Andhra Pradesh Enforcement Bureau Division captured Mastan while he was hiding in a dargah in Guntur.

Mastan’s troubles began on June 3, when he was caught red-handed transporting drugs at the Vijayawada railway station. Despite being apprehended, he managed to escape, leading the police on a relentless manhunt that culminated in his arrest today.
Mastan’s name has been prominently linked to the ongoing dispute between Tollywood actor Raj Tarun and Lavanya. Their fallout reportedly stemmed from Lavanya’s alleged affair with Mastan, which Raj Tarun cited as the reason for distancing himself from her.

This allegation was further supported by Shekhar Basha, who claims to be Raj Tarun’s friend. Shekhar has publicly accused Mastan and Lavanya not only of having an affair but also of engaging in drug activities together. According to Shekhar Basha, the duo supplied drugs and even harassed Raj Tarun while staying at his house.
During the height of this controversy, several audio clips allegedly involving Mastan were leaked, though his exact whereabouts remained unknown until his recent arrest.
Lavanya, on the other hand, has acknowledged that Mastan was once her friend but later accused him of raping her in Guntur under the guise of friendship—a case that remains open.
Mastan, however, claims that his interactions with Lavanya were solely related to the Varalakshmi Tiffins drug case in Hyderabad, in which both are implicated.
The investigation took a darker turn when the police examined Mastan’s phone, discovering numerous disturbing videos allegedly used to blackmail several girls. The extent of his criminal activities, including drug trafficking and extortion, has sent shockwaves across Telugu states.
Mastan’s arrest is expected to shed light on 2-3 other drug cases, with both the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh police likely to seek his remand for further questioning.
