The drug addicts in Telangana are going to extreme extents to purchase drugs. In its latest operation, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) nabbed a software engineer from Khammam, who ordered drugs on the dark web.
Getting into the story, the technical wing of TGNAB has recently traced a network which was using internet platforms to deliver drugs through speed posts.

Based on the TGNAB technical wing’s information, officials of RNCC Khammam and local II-Town Khammam police conducted a joint operation and caught the software engineer.
According to the reports, the arrested individual ordered rugs on the Dark Web on July 31st and made the payment through cryptocurrency.

The drug vendor shipped the drugs from Silpukhuri, Assam, through Speed Post. He also provided the tracking number to the buyer.
The RNCC Khammam officers kept track of the package. When the buyer received the package on August 8, they arrested him successfully at his residence.

It was found out that the drugs were wrapped in a newspaper which was then sealed with brown tape.
The police are currently investigating the case. The software engineer and his family were provided with counselling.
Recently, TGANB officials have cracked down on numerous drug rackets across the city and are rigorously continuing their search operations.
