YS Jagan Mohan Reddy used to exhibit so much of Fake Love for Vishakapatnam in the name of Executive Capital. He got a Palace built using 500 Crore Public Money but did nothing to the Port City.
In the five years of Jagan’s tenure, the City did not witness any growth and we have seen him drive away some companies like Franklin Templeton, Lulu Mall, Adani Data Center, etc from the city.
For a question by Vishakapatnam MP Sri Bharat, the Central Government in the Parliament said that Vishakapatnam got just one industry between 2019 and 2024.
Union Commerce and Industries Minister Piyush Goyal answered the question.
The Minister said Divi Laboratories EOU Department started manufacturing Bulk Drugs and Pharmaceuticals in 2021-22 and except that, no other industry came to the Vishakapatnam district.
Divi Laboratories is in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam for so long. This is just an additional investment and their natural requirements prompted the investment
That means Jagan Mohan Reddy did not do anything to the City and its people.
For all the five years, we have been seeing Jagan saying Vishakapatnam has everything and will go naturally.
Even with everything, it is clear Jagan did nothing and could do nothing.
The people of Vishakapatnam may have understood that more than anyone else.
YSR Congress drew a blank in the entire Vishakapatnam district in the recent elections. In the four constituencies that cover Vizag City, the party’s candidates lost with massive majorities. TDP also won the Vishakapatnam Parliament with a massive margin.
