The other day, Ravi Prakash aired a Sensational Story on his RTV YouTube Channel saying that BRS is in advanced talks with the BJP for a possible merger.
The story says the merger deal is done and talks are on about how to accommodate KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao.
They also say three BJP leaders – Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay, and Eetala are opposing this proposal. The Congress, recent Parliament election results, and Kavitha’s jail reportedly prompted this decision, Ravi Prakash reasoned in his Presentation.
It will be a shock if this happens.
But then, if this is the case with BRS, the position of Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh should be even worse.
BRS won 29 out of the 119 seats in the Telangana Assembly while YSR Congress won just eleven out of the 175 seats.
BRS is putting up a strong fight in Telangana Politics courtesy of KTR and Harish Rao but it is totally a different case with the YSR Congress.
We have seen Jagan Mohan Reddy fleeing the Assembly sessions and pleading with the courts to give him the Opposition Status something which the people denied him.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is not even staying in Andhra Pradesh. He is living in his Bengaluru Palace and is doing ‘Tourism Politics’ now and then.
Very soon, we may see numerous cases drown him. The disproportionate assets cases, the Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case, and the cases due to the rampant corruption between 2019 and 2024 – there are many of them.
Considering all this, Jagan does not have any option than merging his party with the Congress or the BJP.
