Mrunal Thakur’s Bollywood journey has had its ups and downs. Although she starred in popular films like Super 30, she didn’t gain much recognition initially.
However, her role in Sita Ramam catapulted her to fame in the Telugu industry and made her a heartthrob of Telugu audience.
Her next film Hi Nanna was also a big hit. But her third film, Family Star, turned out to be a flop which was a setback for her flourishing career.
Now she is doing back-to-back films in Bollywood, one among them is Son Of Sardaar 2 starring Ajay Devgn.
The original Son Of Sardaar, released in 2012, was a moderate success and was based on SS Rajamouli’s Maryada Ramanna. Now, 13 years later, the sequel is in production.
Ajay Devgn recently shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) announcing that Son Of Sardaar 2 has started filming in the UK. The video features Devgn offering prayers at a gurudwara, followed by Mrunal Thakur dressed in a Punjabi suit and playing the dhol with enthusiasm.
Mrunal is optimistic that this film will boost her Bollywood career and bring her the success she’s aiming for.
Mrunal hopes that with the success of this film, her career in Bollywood will take a solid restart.
