Barring the Sankranthi season, there hasn’t been a period of play when the Tollywood audience were served multiple new options in a month. This wait is finally coming to an end with this August.
This month, there are a handful of new outings and it all starts with Allu Sirish’s Buddy which is arriving on the 2nd of this month. This film is billed to be a comedy drama and it revolves around a live action teddy bear.

Then we have Mr Bachchan which is one of the mainstream outings this month. This Ravi Teja starrer is helmed by Harish Shankar and it has the glowing Bhagyashri Borse in the female lead role. It is arriving on the 15th of August.
We also have Double Ismart, the sequel for Ismart Shankar which is also arriving on the 15th of this month.

Thangaalan, the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil hero Chiyaan Vikram is also arriving on 15 August.
Lastly, Nani’s Saripodha Sanivaram which happens to be the most promising film of the lot which is arriving on the 29th of this month. This is the second coming together of Nani and Vivek Athreya after Ante Sundraniki.

There are a handful of mainstream options already and then we have the likes of Committee Kurrallu(9 August), Aay(Aug 15), and Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam(23 Aug) which are also in the pipeline.
