The Indian contingent couldn’t add to the medal tally on Day 3, with Arjun Babuta coming heartbreakingly close to one. On Day 4, all eyes will be on Manu Bhaker who will go for a 2nd medal at these Games, partnering Sarabjot Singh.

She made history as first Indian woman ever to win a shooting medal at Olympics. Manu will seek to go a step further and make it two but they face a tough test vs Korea in bronze medal match.

SHOOTING

With rifle-pistol events headlining the first few days, it will the turn for shotgun athletes to enter the fray. Trap men’s qualification will come to a close but Prithviraj isn’t in a great position to qualify after Day 1.

Once again at the Olympics, archery has led to more disappointment than joy. Now the attention switches to individual events. Ankita will face Bhajan if they both win their first-round matches.

Men’s 800m Freestyle: 12.32am (Wednesday)

Another record holder set to be in action. The short-course world-record holder in 800m freestyle, Daniel Wiffen, will be the odds-on favourite to be on the top step of the podium in the event. It would be Ireland’s first-ever gold.

TABLE TENNIS

Mixed doubles, gold medal match: 6 PM

Top-seeded Chinese pair, Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha, the two best singles players in the world will be huge favourites but you could never count of DPR Korea in this event.
