Samsung Galaxy S23 leaks are coming thick and fast now, with the smartphones expected to be launched within a few more weeks (February 1). This latest leak was initially shared by SnoopyTech on Twitter, with a commenter on the relevant tweet then posting a link to eBay classifieds (Germany) where the Galaxy S23 case packaging is listed and shown off from the front and rear. There are cases for each of the three expected SKUs: the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The reverse of the packaging shows that the leather cases originated from China and reveals the official names for the case colors. So, we have cases for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in black and a somewhat fetching camel color, there is a single Galaxy S23+ case in green, and there are a couple of Galaxy S23 cases that are shown in black and camel. It can be seen in the text on the rear of the boxes that these are official Galaxy S23 cases as there is a short statement reading “designed by Samsung”.
The shape of the leather cases for the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ confirm the rounded corners of the smartphones, in a similar fashion to their respective predecessors, and there are cutouts for the three camera sensors. The Galaxy S23 Ultra cases reveal a straighter and flatter frame and less curvy corners, while the cutouts for the main camera sensors are considerably larger than those that were made in official cases for the Galaxy S22 Ultra (as demonstrated by tipster Ice universe in the embedded tweet posted below the case images).
